IEP Stewardship Program Pre-Work: 20Qs (+)

Hello! Please reflect upon and complete the following questions before our initial IEP Stewardship Deep Dive in a few weeks.

It will take you about an hour, maybe a bit more or a bit less depending on how deep you’d like to go with these questions. Remember, there are no “right” or “wrong” answers, and your responses will be held in confidence.

1. What do you want to get out of IEP Stewardship? For yourself? For others?
2. What are you hoping you’ll be able to do more effectively as a result of engaging in this work?
3. What’s important to you about being in talent and growing others?
4. On a scale of 0-10 (0 = dreading and 10 = ecstatic), how excited are you about engaging in this program?
5. What’s the impact you want to make with your life? On others on a daily basis?
6. Think about two people in your life who really inspire you: What’s inspiring about them? How are you like them?
7. Think about two people in your life who really irritate you — they may even be your nemesis: What’s irritating about them? How are you like them?
8. How would you describe your leadership presence? If I were to ask 5 people what they know they can count on you for, what would the themes be?
9. What’s the best feedback you could receive? The worst?
10. How would you describe your general state of well-being, energy, and self-care?
11. Generally speaking, how energized do you feel physically? (0-10) Mentally? (0-10) (“0” is lowest)
12. Generally speaking, what’s the quality of presence you bring into a room? (“0”: You drag people down and sink the energy of the room, “10”: You elevate, people feel inspired and uplifted just by being in your presence)
13. What’s the most difficult thing for you to deal with in leading others? The easiest?
14. What is your biggest challenge right now?
15. If you could wave a magic wand and be better at 3 things right now, what would they be?
16. Name 5 things that piss you off – you get a visceral reaction to these things, they just don’t sit right.
17. Name 5 things that delight you — if you could experience these things regularly, you’d be lit up, on purpose, insanely happy.
18. What do you believe are your top 10 core values? How well are you honoring them? Go through and rate them 0-10. (Again, “0” is low.)
